KINETISENSE 3D MOTION TEST FOR NECK RANGE OF MOTION
Kinetisense uses 3D cameras to measure your turning, tilting and bending range and how steady you stand, without any wires or markers. For a stiff neck, it turns “I can’t turn my head” into numbers that are measured again at every re-check.
Your physician asks for this test only when the result could change how we treat your neck. You only have it when it is ordered for you.
How does it help?
After whiplash, or after years of leaning into a screen, the neck loses motion slowly enough that you stop noticing. The camera records how far you turn and tilt, how your shoulders sit and how steady you are. Running it again later proves progress, or proves the plan needs to change.
What does it feel like?
You face the camera and do what you are asked: turn your head, bend, balance on one foot. No part of the test touches you.
How do you get ready?
Wear fitted clothes you can move in.
What should you tell us first?
- If standing without something to hold is not safe for you, say so; we adjust the test
How long does it take?
About 15 to 20 minutes.

Show us you have it: Of all the moves in the test, name the single one that felt hardest for your neck. At your next visit we go over it again, and we are glad to repeat any step you want to see twice.
